Positive: The location! A lovely, soft view over the canal and islands, with a rich diversity of bird life close by. Viewing, either from the deck or from inside through huge windows, are splendid for relaxing. Excellent Wi-Fi. Very friendly hosts.
Negative: No aircon in the loft, where the bed is; we did visit during a heatwave. The unit heating system looks formidable, so in cold weather this will not be a problem. A large fan in the loft, does compensate well for cooling.
Summary: Excellent choice for a relaxing breakaway.
